A Greener Borough & Bankside

The first Borough & Bankside ward meeting under the new Empowering Communities programme.

The theme of the meeting is a Greener Borough & Bankside with the biggest issue we are facing as a planet and community being climate change.

There will be presentations from Giles Hardy from Plastic Free Peckham discussing the key issues of single use plastics and Amir Eden from Living Bankside and the Young Lungs Campaign on air quality.

The meeting will also have an opportunity for residents to bring up other ward issues for discussion.

Tea, coffee and milk will be provided but as this is a green meeting please bring your own mug!
