The Great Get Together Bankside at Borough Yards

Living Bankside is again hosting The Great Get Together Bankside, part of a nationwide series of activities. The event is an initiative inspired by the late Jo Cox MP designed to bring people together to celebrate what they have in common. People are encouraged to make new connections and promote Jo's message of unity. In partnership with Refugee Week the theme this year is ‘welcome’.

Whoever you are, whatever your background you are most welcome to attend. Know that you are loved and valued member of our neighbourhood!

The event will include:

- Bankside Bake-Off, Dog Competition, Wacky Races, Knit-a-thon;

- an array of music, dance and special performances and more;

- Kids Zone including Face painting, Ball Pit, make your own cupcake, ice-Cream, goodie bags, bubbles and more

- Sports Zone including Badminton, Basketball, Football, Rowing, Cycling, Skipping and more

- Pride in Southwark, Tea with the Queen of Scots, Roman findings from the Museum of London Archaeology, Living Bankside (The Future of Bankside & Borough) information about developments; U+I (Landmark Court), CIT (Colechurch House) and Fabrix (Blackfriars Crown Court)
