Design Overtime

Colani Night

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The Design Museum will open its doors until 10pm offering the public a late night opportunity to see Luigi Colani - Translating Nature before the exhibition closes on 17 June. There will be an exciting range of activities on offer, including gallery talks and creative activities, musical entertainment, and a licensed bar.

11 dancing spacewomen will invade the museum. The Actionettes have been invited to bring their spectacle and expertise to Design Overtime. With their synchronised routines choreographed to songs by 60s girl groups, the Actionettes will be paying homage to the futuristic work of the maverick designer Luigi Colani.

Professor Luigi Colani himself will be at the museum on the night. There will be a free drink for anyone who follows his example and comes dressed totally in white - moustaches are optional.

See the shows, enjoy the spectacle, build a Colani influenced rocket ship out of smoothie bottles, taste our special Colani cocktail, decorate a Colani cake, or enjoy some of the other activities planned, to make the Design Overtime: Colani Night an out-of-this-world experience.
