The Royal Festival Hall is one of the UK's iconic modern buildings. This study afternoon will take place in the newly refurbished Royal Festival Hall auditorium, and is a unique opportunity to find out more about the history and design of the building. It will also explore the opportunity the refurbishment project has afforded to reinvigorate the whole building in the context of the original vision. Chaired by Graham Morrison, the seminar will include presentations from members of the team involved in the process exploring the challenges faced and the solutions found. This will include a demonstration of the new acoustic and production flexibility of the auditorium.
