Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is putting the call out to find 70 nurses to join the Trust's highly respected nursing team.

The new nursing staff will join the 2500 nurses working for the Trust across a variety of specialty areas, including intensive care, anaesthetics, post operative care, paediatrics, theatre, haematology among others.

Nursing recruitment lead Val Carse said Guy's and St Thomas' provides excellent career development and opportunities for all levels of nursing staff.

"The Trust has a reputation for medical excellence and is renowned for teaching the nurses and doctors of the future," Val said.

Some interviews will be held on the day, particularly for those who have travelled from far away.

Val said: "Applicants will have the chance to talk to members of the Trust's senior nursing team, as well as recruitment centre staff and they will also have the opportunity for informal visits to specialty departments.

"Those who attend the Recruitment Day will get a good feel for what it would be like to work for the Trust.

"They will be able seek advice and information and those relocating will be able to view the hospital accommodation available."
