Southwark Playhouse Comedy

Southwark Playhouse, with its exciting new premises under the platforms of London Bridge, is striving to provide a platform for emerging artists - and this includes comedians.

As well as the productions happening it its main space, Southwark Playhouse is unveiling a brand-new comedy club based in its spacious theatre bar, designed to showcase the very best in up-and-coming comedy talent on the London circuit - and beyond.

Fresh, new, cutting edge stand-ups, character comedians and Edinburgh preview shows will be making their way beneath the arches in 2008.
