Stephen Bourne gives an illustrated talk, which looks at wartime experiences of black Londoners on the home front. Learn about the lives of ordinary families as well as the experiences of personalities such as Dr. Harold Moody, Adelaide Hall and Ken 'Snakehips' Johnson.
There will be time to discuss your own home front memories at the end of the event. Please bring any related photographs or small objects with you.
