A staged reading of Your Five Gallants by Thomas Middleton (c 1607).
Katherine, the rich daughter of a deceased knight, is in love with Fitzgrave but is pursued by five corrupt gallants, each of whom embodies a contemporary vice.
Written for the Children of the Revels at Blackfriars, Your Five Gallants is a funny and satirical examination of the fragility of reputation, honour and identity in a Jacobean London where clothes really can (temporarily) make the man.
