After to the success of the Christmas Market the Slow Food Market returns to the South Bank for the May Day bank holiday weekend.
The market, brought to you by Slow Food UK, will offer foodies over 30 stalls of fresh and preserved foods, as well as sustainably produced craft products - sourced both locally and countrywide.
The Slow Food Movement believes that the food we eat should taste good; that it should be produced in a clean way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health; and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work.
Stall holders include: Gourmet Mushroom (UK) Ltd; Utobeer; Farmstead Cheese; Orchid Apiaries; Richard Haward's Oysters and Born and Bread Bakery.
