The Southwark-based charity PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) is staging this photography exhibition in collaboration with photographer Paloma Pargac.
PEAS works to widen access to secondary education in Uganda, East Africa, where enrolment is currently under 20%.
So far, PEAS has funded the launch of three new low-fee secondary schools, which has provided educational opportunities for up to 3000 students.
The charity hopes to open two more schools in 2009. The schools founded by PEAS make secondary education more affordable to disadvantaged young people and their families.
The exhibition features photographs and stories from a selection of students that attend PEAS schools in Uganda, showing them at home and at school.
