New Moon Festival

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The greatest festival in the Korean calendar is for the Harvest Moon or Ch'usok and it is held on the 15th day of the Eighth Moon which happens to fall over the Thames Festival weekend.

It is a time for Koreans to dress up in traditional clothes and celebrate with fantastic food, games for children, a display of martial arts, music and dance shows.

Don't miss Jump, a supersonic shot of Jackie Chan slapstick spectacular that has wowed audiences in London's West End and at festivals across the world, and Last for One, the legendary Korean B-Boy crew that takes break dancing to a whole new level.
