Free blood pressure checks will be on offer at City Hall and More London as part of Know your Numbers! Week 2008.

Run by UK charity the Blood Pressure Association, Know your Numbers! Week is the nation's biggest blood pressure testing event during which 3,000 'Pressure Stations' will be staffed by health professionals at venues nationwide.

As part of the event, two special blood pressure screening vans will be located in Potters Fields Park and outside Southwark Crown Court.

Members of the public and local employees can pop along for a quick , free blood pressure check and information explaining what the numbers mean and how to lower their blood pressure if necessary.

The vehicles staffed by trained nurses are being provided by Vitality Healthcare Ltd to help the Blood Pressure Association provide convenient blood pressure checks.
