Formed in 1931 by organist and education visionary Ernest Read, ERSO is one of London's leading community orchestras. Giving five concerts a year in venues across London, the Orchestra tackles a range of diverse and challenging repertoire to an impressive standard under the direction of Peter Stark, one of the country's leading conductors. The Orchestra champions developmental opportunities for emerging conductors and performers and remains committed to giving concerts for children.
