Textiles Foundation

Work made throughout the year in Textile courses coordinated by Alex Mayer.

The Textiles Foundation is a one-year course starting from September which runs on Mondays and Tuesdays each week. The course offers a combination of drawing, contextual studies skills and a mix of textile techniques and practice. Students prepare their own projects, work to commissions or produce their own professional portfolios. Special attention is given to current textile practice.

Knitted, felted, stitched, dyed, screen printed textiles, installations and wearable art.
