To discuss a series of practical improvements, particularly for children, families and young people, in
Mint Street Park.

Meet at 6pm outside Mint Street Playground to discuss while walking around the park, followed by a formal meeting inside finishing at 8pm

Would you like to have better play equipment? Improvements to the surfacing? More children using the space? Do you have concerns you would like to discuss? Or do you just want to show you care for the park?

The meeting will discuss plans to spend a combination of funding, some of which is secure and needs to be spent quite quickly, other of which we will fundraise for:

• Playbuilder, from government for play in the park – £50,000 must be spent by end of March
• Southwark's Cleaner Greener Safer for the playground – £75,000 to spend now
• Big Lottery Changing Spaces to improve access to the park – £50,000 application in progress

• This open meeting is organised by your local park steering group through Bankside Open Spaces Trust
