Although recorded in the UK it has never before received a live performance in the UK.

The overture to Amor og Digteren (Love and the Poet) was written in 1930 as part of the incidental music to Sophus Michaelis' play celebrating Hans Christian Andersen.

The orchestra welcomes back Simon Callaghan as soloist for the concerto item in the concert, Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3.
