Waterloo Library Book Group

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The book group at Waterloo Library meets on the second Thursday of each month.

The library buys fifteen copies of each title chosen. The titles range from contemporary bestsellers, to award-winners and the occasional classic. New members always welcome.

Attending the group is free but there is a small charge for refreshments (wine and crisps) for those who want them.

The group has recently discussed The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole and After Dark by Haruki Murakami.

This month the group is discussing The Icarus Girl by Helen Oyeyemi, who attended SE1's Notre Dame RC School.

Contact librarian Stephen Males on 020 7926 8751 for further details.
