Thames Festival Family Workshops

In Toto Theatre is organising these workshops for Lambeth/Southwark families to participate in the Thames Fesitval parade under the theme "At the Dawn of Time". These creative arts sessions are a chance for adults to take part in the festival - with roles and costumes - alongside their children (adults without accompanying children should contact the organisers).

- Make shadow puppets…creation stories of the sun, moon and stars and how the beginning began
- Learn belly dance family dance sessions learning mesmerising Middle Eastern dance
- Middle Eastern Music join in with the band and learn new rhythms to accompany the procession
- Make pre-historic creature headdresses and costume elements… lanterns… dinosaur eggs.. and much, much more…

Just show up at any session before 14 September for registration.
No unaccompanied children under 11 years.

Thursday 14 September
4 pm– 7 pm Colombo Centre (Club Room)

Friday 15 September
4 pm – 6 pm 99a Costume & Craft
4 pm – 8 pm Christ Church Rehearsal

Saturday 16 September
Rehearsal 11 am to 7 pm Christ Church Final Rehearsals
