The Royal Court Theatre addresses the election result – the first hung Parliament since 1974 - in its Rough Cuts project – a mini season of short plays, experimental readings and works in progress.

As part of the wider season, The Royal Court's Theatre Local space at the Elephant & Castle presents five nights of specially commissioned ten minute plays all written as a response to the 2010 general election.

Tuesday and Thursday featuring plays by April de Angelis, Tim Crouch, Michael Wynne, Dipo Agboluaje and Leo Butler.

Wednesday and Friday featuring plays by Alia Bano, Michael Bhim, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Martin Crimp and Emma Crowe.

Saturday featuring all plays by the ten writers.
