Commemorating D-Day

HMS Belfast, involved in the 1944 D- Day landings, hosts a series of events bringing history to life. Children can dress up as Second World War sailors, as they would have looked at D-Day, and handle the artefacts used by the men who landed on the Normandy Beaches over 60 years ago.
