Tunnels & Arches Urban Design Outdoor Crit

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Join in one of the guided tours or take a self guided walk around the London Bridge area to look at a proposed urban design plan linking busy streets and under-used spaces.

In partnership with Team London Bridge, 10 'Build Up' professionals, in partnership with the University of Westminster, have consulted local businesses and residents to develop a strategic urban design plan for the historic arches and viaduct.

Proposals are both innovative and practical, bringing to life a number of the Victorian railway tunnels east of London Bridge station.

Guided walks: 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, starting at Shipwright Yard on Tooley Street.

Unguided walk with map (to be picked up from Shipwright Yard): 12noon – 5pm

Displays of the proposed interventions will be located at Shipwright Yard, Tooley Street and the Pierre Garroudi Gallery, and there will be reports available about the project at the start/end of the walk.

There will also be a comments card for people to complete at the end.
