Walworth Through Time

Mark Baxter and Darren Lock, both Walworth locals, have always been interested in its local history and buildings.

This interest has led to them being commissioned to write a book for the publisher Amberley Press on the area as part of their 'Through Time' series.

By using a combination of old and new photographs, many unseen before, a story will be told of the SE17 area.

The authors will look and compare what is still standing in the area and what has long been lost. The diversity of the locations and the gems hidden among them provide a fascinating tale.

The aim of the book is to entertain, inform and ultimately educate.
