Death and Resurrection
Following a sell-out run in 2009, prepare for more terror as the 2010 Death and Resurrection season takes Southwark Playhouse back to its reputed wartime past as a morgue, seventy years on from the Blitz.
Four short plays explore the theatre of horror as they reinvent Grand Guignol for the 21st century, interspersed with magic, cabaret from award-winning songstress Sarah-Louise Young, and other eerie oddities for the Halloween season.
This year's plays are by April DeAngelis, William Ewart, Neil LaBute and Mark Ravenhill.
