Bishop of London in Noah’s Ark journey up Thames to highlight climate change

The Bishop of London, Rt Revd Richard Chartres, leads hymn-singing on
the deck of the Golden Jubilee pleasure boat as it passes Waterloo
Bridge on a journey from Temple Pier to Millbank Millennium Pier as
part of an Operation Noah event to urge world leaders to agree far-
reaching measures to tackle climate change at the forthcoming
Copenhagen summit.

This September the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Rowan
Williams, will deliver an Operation Noah lecture at Southwark
Cathedral .
