Trail links South Bank and Bankside museums

Loyd Grossman has launched a series of Discover London Trails to promote the capital's smaller museums. One of the trails is devoted to the South Bank and Bankside - but don't be confused by the name.

Free IT training for community and voluntary groups

Community and voluntary groups in Lambeth and Southwark can apply for free training for staff and volunteers. The REALISE IT network also offers free computers to people with disabilities.

Work starts on Elephant tube station revamp

Following the reopening of the Northern Line ticket hall in December 2003, work has now commenced on a major refurbishment of the tunnels and platforms at Elephant and Castle tube station.
