South Bank 'unrecognisable' without the London Eye

New research shows that the UK's most recognisable landmark is the London Eye - but few people recognise an image of the South Bank without it.

Dirty Pretty Things will support the Make Roads Safe campaign with a special gig in at the Coronet in New Kent Road. 200 pairs of tickets are up for grabs in a prize draw.

Czech Wreck team to raise money for radiotherapy at St Thomas'

Two local NHS staff will be embarking on a four day drive from Calais to the Czech Republic on 1 September to raise money for radiotherapy services at St Thomas' Hospital.
