Taxi drivers stage noisy protest outside Palestra

Dozens of London taxis converged on the London Development Agency's Blackfriars Road HQ on Wednesday lunchtime to protest against a new scheme some cab drivers claim is "racist".

Founder's Place wins go-ahead from Hazel Blears

The controversial Founder's Place development near St Thomas' Hospital has been granted planning permission on appeal by communities secretary Hazel Blears.
