Borough Post Office moving to Costcutter Southwark Bridge Road

The Crown Post Office opposite Borough Tube Station is to be replaced by a counter in a new Costcutter store in Southwark Bridge Road.

Southwark's ruling executive has agreed to sign a cooperation agreement with Berkeley Homes to bring forward a new development at Potters Fields.

Met employee convicted of theft from Kennington Police Station

56-year-old Terence Goulding, a police designated detention officer, was on Tuesday convicted at Kingston Crown Court of the theft of between £6,000 and £10,000 cash from Kennington Police Station.
