Southwark Council has launched a public consultation on the replacement for the current Elephant & Castle Leisure Centre, including the crucial question of whether the new centre should have a swimming pool.
It's more than four years since SE1 resident Tom Mercer swapped his management consultant job in the City for a new life selling healthy breakfasts to commuters at Waterloo East Station.
The new cross-river Thameslink railway station at Blackfriars should be renamed Blackfriars & Bankside, say Lib Dem politicians Simon Hughes MP and Caroline Pidgeon AM.
