A man has been arrested for theft of a motor vehicle after crashing a Jaguar into the wall of a housing estate in Bermondsey.
Southwark Council has confirmed that it will be developing plans for a permanent memorial to victims of the London Bridge terrorist attack, as it announces that flowers placed near the bridge are to be removed.
Bermondsey & Old Southwark MP Neil Coyle has praised the "second to none" community spirit of London Bridge after the recent terror attack as he pressed the home secretary for more funding for the NHS and police.
