Boy stabbed in eye at Geoffrey Chaucer school

A 14 year old boy is in a south London hospital after being stabbed in the eye at Geoffrey Chaucer Technology College in Southwark's Theobald Street.

Two male youths, aged 16 and 13, have been charged with section 18 assault and are due to appear at Southwark Youth Court.

It is understood that an ambulance was called to the school at lunchtime on Tuesday after the boy had been stabbed in the eye with a sharp implement during an argument.

A second male pupil has been released from hospital after suffering a minor facial injury.
