Reviews of Salerno's

I love Salerno's. A relatively new addition to the Shad Thames restaurant collection (there are several) this has to be one of my favourites. The food is EXCELLENT. The service is very good, and the atmosphere is relaxed but stylish. It is good value for money considering the quality of the offering. I'm very pleased to see the restaurant totting up good reviews in such a short time and I fully recommend people head that little bit further into Shad Thames to give this a try!

I live around the corner from Salerno's and our party gave them a try last weekend using their takeaway service. Between us, we had several different dishes. The food was excellent - very good quality ingredients and generous portions. It took me quite a while just to de-shell all the seafood in my risotto, there was so much of it.

The price is slightly higher than nearby chain-restaurant fare (Ask, Strada, Brown's) but was definitely worth it.

We'll certainly be back and I hope more people will try it out. It's a shame that it's frequently empty due to its hidden location.
