Friendly but much too expensive and not that good
I really want to like this place because the owner and chef are so likeable, it's just the food is so expensive and so very average - it's not rocket science why it's always empty. They should be marketing themselves as a reliable local Italian and drawing in the local crowd by offering cheap and reliable good grub. It's a real shame.

Love this restaurant!
I am not the owner or employee !

I have eaten in this restaurant a couple of times - the staff are lovely and the food is very good . I am a vegetarian and they went out of their way to make sure I got something suitable !

It is however on the pricey side - but as an occasional treat it is a good place to go !

The opening times are a bit bizarre but I guess thats part of their charm !

The outside area ( at the back of the restaurant ) has a rather steep staircase but it is brightly lit and lovely during the summer .

Friendly and welcoming
The Manager and staff are very welcoming and the food is excellent. We are veggies and the Manager was happy to have any special request cooked for us if we so wished. We would definitely go there again and we recommend it to everyone.
Just great
A great place to go for a meal. I have been eating there for over 15 years and have never had a complaint. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The garlic pizza bread is a brilliant starter, some of the best pizza anywhere, but whatever you have it's all good.
The cafe next door, Cafe Italia, (owned and run by the same guys), also does great food. Seating outside front, rear and inside downstairs. They have good deals on a tasty breakfast, excellent sandwiches and a whopping 20% off for students. You have to try really hard to go wrong here, the only requirement is that you like Italian food.

Good Food
Good Food, alway's hot and fresh. If it's not on the menu, alway's ask as they will do their best to cook what you ask for.
