Great Italian
Had lunch today at Flavours of Naples and the food and wine were extremely good. I started with an antipasti platter followed by linguini with cherry tomato sauce. Both were excellent. We enjoyed a very reasonably priced Umbrian Sangiovese which was only £13 per bottle. As you would expect the espresso really hits the mark. This place is a great addition to the southern end of Borough High Street.
Not just any old coffee shop
A wonderful addition to the local area. This is a family run business with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. They do sell good coffee and at very reasonable prices. Maybe not greasy spoon cheap but less than coffee shop chains and better quality than both. They also sell excellent pasta dishes and ready made ciabatta sandwiches. Also on offer is a decent selection of fine deserts, cheeses, cured meats and breads. Plus an array of condiments, Italian dried pastas, olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Eat in or take to eat at home, this place is a gem and I'm delighted these guys decided Borough high street was the place to set up shop. Lets hope other similar small businesses follow suit.
Authentic and Italian
Borough High Street has its fair share of mediocre cafes and the woeful Costabucks outlets. Thank goodness we now have Flavours of Naples - a real bonus for coffee addicts and Italophiles. A little bit out of the way, forget Joe's Kitchen and their rude and inattentive staff this friendly new business is doing everything right. Unlike the almost undrinkable coffee dished out regularly in many London cafes Flavours of Naples serve a robust blend at a drinkable temperature in proper cups. The food offer includes various ciabatta sandwiches and home made hot dishes. We had the lasagne and cannelloni...both delicious. This place deserves to do well and is a fantastic addition to Borough High Street. Try it!
Well said Colinio!
We had dinner there the other day less than 7 pound for cannelloni!
Not overpriced at all - very good!
Well priced, friendly and a good addition to this part of the street, and they're even open at 6pm which is great on the way home in the evening.

P.S. Starbucks charge £2.55 for the smallest takeaway mocha. So the previous post is not only unconstructive and melodramatic, but factually incorrect.

Overpriced!!!!
Checked in for a coffee today (mocha), smallest cup to takeaway cost me £2.10, stick to starbucks! even thou im no fan of theirs, least they dont rob you in broad daylight!
This place is a gem

Lovely coffee
I popped into Flavours of Naples to grab a quick coffee this morning and spotted some great cakes. So went back this afternoon and bought them too. Great Coffee and great cakes, I know where I will be going from now on.
