Best steak in London
Best steaks in London, by a long shot. They fly in the sides of beef (vacuum packed) from Argentina and then hang them/ cut them in the UK. I've never had a bad meal at Gaucho, and the service is great..... as is the wine list.
Meaty!
Every now and then I really fancy a large steak.

Problem is, most restaurants have steak on the menu with lots of other stuff. This place specialises in steak - so we are off to a good start!

We were met at the door by very friendly and smartly turned out staff, resplendent in their black uniform. Our table for-3 was right next to the open plan kitchen, and was a bit noisy: top tip - if you are going with your wife/girlfriend/someone else's wife - ask for a table away from the kitchen near the window.

They have a special wooden tray that they bring to your table - complete with placticized life sized steaks, so that you can see what your gonna get.

You can then choose the cut you want and pick the uncooked weight of you chosen meat: 225, 300 or 400 grams, and for the super hungry you can get 1000 and even 2000 grams!!!

I chose the 400 gram sirloin bad-boy with flat mushrooms and sautéed potatoes.

Now, SE1'ers, I have had steak all over this planet but that lump of meat at Tower Bridge was the best I have ever had - truly delicious!

My friend had a tasty spicy sausage thingy, that was very spicy!

Had a couple of bottled beers too and the bill came to about £40 for 2 of us - not bad.

Check out their menu for yourself here.
