Still a reliable option
We went back to Tas on The Cut last night. As always it was busy but the service was still good, the food was still reliable and good value. A firm favourite!
Good value and great service
We've often been to Tas on Borough High Street and also to the branch opposite the Globe Theatre, but this was the first time visiting the original branch on The Cut. We arrived on Tuesday at 7pm and it was very busy, but we were given a warm welcome and the service was attentive. As in the other branches, the food is not earth-shattering but it's good and so are the prices. But it was the excellent service - we were there for several hours -that would definitely bring us back.
filling? - maybe - but not so fresh unfortunately
Went to this restaurant expecting great things - seeing as it's often fairly busy and there are now a few branches in the area.

Unfortunately, the house wine was 'corked' and the tuna steak over cooked. Salad wasnt too fresh either. Too oily for my taste.

The atmosphere's pleasant enough, and the waiters friendly, but the food was a let down. Shame.

Great food at fabulous price
Visited Tas for first time yesterday.
In these financially challenging times opted for the 3 course meal at £5.95.
So glad I did. It was delicious, beautifully presented and filling.
Good service, pleasant ambiance. I will be back.
