Refused to serve me a full pint!
Lots of pubs leave 2 cm of froth on the beer they serve but almost always they agree to top up when you politely ask them to. Last night this place didn't despite me spending two minutes with a couple of their staff trying to respectfully persuade them of my legal right to a full pint of liquid beer. I wouldn't have pushed the issue quite so far but they charge £4.15 for a pint of bitter! Lots of pubs in this area - Don't use this one.
Great beer
Met a friend in london bridge and met at the Cooperage, really nice feel to it, sawdust on the floor, old tools on the wall, big old barrels everywhere.

Staff really friendly, had a great range of real ales, served in tankards!!! haven't seen that in years.

Highly recommended.

A great night.
I recently used the cooperage as the venue for my leaving drinks on the reccomendation of some friends and I have to say that it turned in a great night. The staff were funny and helpful, and actually seemed to be having a good time, constantly topping up our drinks and the food was excellent. All in all I wish I'd found this place sooner but I will definitely be visiting again next time im in the area.
