Opening ten years after British troops first entered Afghanistan, the display features 15 personal artefacts as well as digital screens packed with video footage, images and interviews.

Over the last two years, the Museum has been given unprecedented access to service personnel when they return from Afghanistan and this is the first time that the majority of the material collected has been on display.
