The service is being jointly organised by London Bridge Hospital and Connect – the communication disability network, a charity that works in partnership with people with aphasia.
Aphasia is a communication disability that is often caused by stroke. It affects everyone differently, but can leave people with little or no speech. Others can no longer read, write or use numbers.
Connect supports people living with aphasia to develop the services they need to build confidence and reconnect with life.
