Through the Wormhole

Furniture Re-Imagined

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

A young, up and coming designer and master craftsman, Andy Jacobs creates beautiful pieces of handcrafted, contemporary furniture with a twist: sharp, angular forms, married with a diverse range of high-grade wood, wrapped in an ultra-contemporary package.

Jacobs is influenced by a variety of of mediums: breaking away from the traditional constraints of cabinet making, and drawing on inspiration from the digital world and musical culture.
The exhibition is an opportunity to meet with the designer himself, to discuss his work and gain an insight into the world of contemporary furniture.

One of the country's leading linocut printmakers, Paul Catherall ARE, will also be exhibiting alongside Wormhole Designs. Renowned for his clean, bold, architectural images, Catherall's work perfectly complements Jacob's designs.
