Bob Chilcott and Keiichi Asai conduct one of Japan's most accomplished choirs.

Programme to include a selection of Japanese songs, Spem in alium by Thomas Tallis and Bob Chilcott's Nidaros Jazz Mass.

Directed by their founder Keiichi Asai for over 50 years, the Kyoto Echo Choir is one of Japan's most accomplished choral ensembles.

Their ongoing relationship with Bob Chilcott has brought them to the UK, where they will be taking part in the Association of British Choral Directors' 29th Convention gala concert, as well as giving this concert consisting of their special repertoire in Southwark Cathedral.
