The official launch of the We Knit Waterloo community project.
Knitters can expect music, nibbles and cocktails as well as some introductory knitting advice.
Aimed at 'knitting' Waterloo's historic high street back together with a unique and colourful approach to shop signage, the project will see more than 50 individual hand-knitted panels created for the shops, cafes and restaurants found along Lower Marsh and The Cut.
Supported by the Mayor of London's High Street Fund, the project will culminate in an outdoor exhibition of panels on Emma Cons Gardens in March 2016.
