The Institute of Imagination (iOi) is bringing the Mini Maker Faire to the South Bank.

Children aged 5-12 and their families are invited to explore and celebrate the world of imagination and creativity with some of the UK's most innovative crafters, tech enthusiasts, engineers, artists and scientists.

This unique two-day event will ignite children's imaginations through hands-on learning, experimentation and play, with the chance to try activities from 3D printing and augmented reality to crafting and den building – all in one place.

Unveil the secrets of electronics with Technology Will Save us, create your own digital story with augmented reality app Blippar, learn to sculpt with Renaissance Atelier or try out game-changing 3D printing technology with Ultimaker.

Mini Maker Faire is a community based learning event that inspires everyone to become a maker and connect to people and projects in their local community. Collaboration and exploration between makers and families in the areas of arts and crafts, science and engineering, food and music are at its core.
