Palm Sunday Procession
The Bishop of Woolwich, the Rt Revd Christopher Chessun - who worked in a Borough High Street solicitors' office 30 years ago - is joining the Palm Sunday Procession of the congregation of St George the Martyr from their temporary place of worship at the Guy's Chapel to their restored church.
The Procession will leave Guy's Chapel at 10.30am and process via St Thomas Street and Borough High Street to the recently restored church of St George the Martyr where Bishop Christopher will celebrate Parish Eucharist at 11am.
Members of the local community, who have so generously supported the Restoration Fund, are invited join in the Procession or just watch it pass by.
