This year's event honours the centenary of the end of World War One and 100 years since the first women in the UK got the right to vote.
Leading women from across London have been invited to deliver the readings at this years' service, as part of the Mayor's #BehindEveryGreatCity campaign to mark the achievement of women in London since 1918.
The service will be conducted by The Very Revd Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark in the presence of The Rt Hon and Rt Revd Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of London. The Mayor, Sadiq Khan, will offer his Christmas message to Londoners and there will also be choirs performing traditional carols.
