Open Garden Squares Weekend

This gem of a secret riverside garden, just beside the Globe Theatre, belongs to the Dean of Southwark Cathedral's private residence and dates back to 1712.

Local singer and folk artist Cunning Folk will sing hits of the 1980s on a giant banjo between 10.30am and 12.30pm

Award winning Harpist Milo Harper performs a recital of glorious harp music from noon to 1pm.

Best-selling historian Margaret Willes will be signing copies of her book ' A Shakespearean Botanical' throughout the day.

The Friends of Southwark Cathedral will be selling home-baked cakes with refreshments and potted herbs through-out the day.
