Generations

A powerful new play by debbie tucker green. The cast draws together new British talent in the shape of Davinia Anderson, Claire Prempeh and Heshima Thompson with leading South African actors Sello Maake Ka- Ncube and Nomhle Nkonyeni, alongside the veteran actor & theatre-maker Louis Mahoney. They will be accompanied by a 14 strong South African choir led by the award-winning artist, Pauline Malefane.

Generations provides a searing snapshot of the life of an everyday South African family. Together they talk, laugh, eat - and battle a devastating 'crisis of absence'. One which mirrors a situation facing millions and sheds light on a story seldom told.
