Help to collect materials for the community garden mosaic at Tate Modern. As part of the development of the Community Garden which is being done in partnership with BOST, a mosaic has been designed and will be made using materials collected form the River Thames. It will include items such as bits of broken Victorian tiles, stones and other exciting treasures! It will provide an exciting visual landscape to the garden, rich with history and significance associated with the river.

Meet archaeologist FIona Haughey who will be leading the sessions at the top of the stairs leading to the river just outside the Globe Theatre.

Please remember to wear suitable footwear and bring some gloves.

Please note this activity isn't suitable for young children. All children need to be supervised by a responsible adult.

Please be aware that the foreshore can be slippy and participants taking part come at their own risk

If you would like to come along please contact synthia.griffin@ tate.org.uk for details or call 020 7401 5176 to confirm your place.
