The Cut in SE1 will be hosting an outdoor adventure game with participants solving clues and puzzles to discover the hidden gems of the local area.

This fun free event is hosted by the national charity Living Streets and marks the final day of the London Festival of Architecture.

Budding adventurers are invited to join the adventure outside the Young Vic.

The adventure game is technology fuelled and will encourage people to get fired up about their urban environment.

Adventurers will use mobile phones, cameras and most importantly, their imaginations, to compete for the title of 'Champions of The Cut'.

Adventure in The Cut is one of a series of activities happening in the area to celebrate the recent improvements in the area and to encourage people to walk more in their local surroundings.

''Helping people to rediscover and enjoy their streets and get out walking more is a really important part of the work Living Streets does, says chief executive Tony Armstrong.

"Getting involved in activities like this is a brilliant way of exploring your local area on foot.

"There are so many benefits to walking, not just to make the roads less congested and polluted, but to develop more of a community as you get to know your local area better.

"We are really excited about this event and encourage local residents to come down and join us."
