Starting with a pile of plaster tiger bones, artist Mark Coreth will create a sculpture of a life-sized tigress climbing down to her cub. In the week leading up to the Festival, Mark will assemble the bones into skeletons and then carve the bodies into shape, all with the assistance of volunteers from the public.
4 - 10 September - work begins on the sculpture, starting with a box of bones
11 - 12 September - culmination of sculpture as the tiger reaches completion
13 - 19 September - completed sculpture remains in situ
The public will be able to help Mark from the 6-12 September, 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
